Black Art Speaks
Black Art Speaks (BAS) is a collective of seventeen black artists from various backgrounds who work together to foster change for the lives of people of color in their local community. This group uses art to speak a message of hope and uncover injustice while demanding change. BAS is responsible for the Black Lives Matter mural in Cincinnati, Ohio. While these projects are led by black artists, allies of all kinds have helped to open doors and build bridges to allow this mission to move forward.
